Membership

AML stands for Anti-Money Laundering. Under new government legislation from 1 July 2014, the ID requirements to join Ruralco mean you must provide the following:
  • A Current Passport
  • A Firearms License

Or

  • A Drivers License and bank card

Plus: An original copy of the following for proof of address:

  • Rates notice
  • Utility notice (power or phone)
  • Bank Statement

All documents to be verified by:

  • Face to face by a Ruralco employee
  • Justice of the peace
  • A member of the New Zealand Police
  • A Lawyer
  • A Chartered Accountant
  • Or a member of parliament.

If you need to change the share structure of your Shareholder account, either by adding or removing a new shareholder or the entity has changed please fill in the Share Transfer Form. We will also require AML for new Shareholders to Ruralco. If you are unsure whether you need to fill out the Share Transfer form please phone our Customer Services Team on 0800 787 256.

Online Shop

If you are not a member, you may place an order on the website and our Customer Services Team will be in touch with payment instructions.
Ruralco may be able to source the product you are looking for, if the product you are after is not displayed on our website, we may be able to provide you a quote from our extensive range of suppliers. If you have placed an order for other products online, you can enquire about other products by adding a comment in the checkout page. Alternatively you may contact us on 0800 787 256 and we can help you with your farming needs.

Refunds will be issued at our discretion and will normally be processed within seven (7) working days.
Delivery is currently FREE throughout New Zealand. We are unable to freight overseas, sorry for any inconvenience.

Card Merchants

You may only access Ruralco’s Card supplier discounts and benefits if you are Ruralco Shareholder or Member. If you are a Ruralco member you may view Card supplier discounts within the “Card Supplier Network” tab if you are logged into the website. My Ruralco/Account

  • You may be using an old login from the old Ruralco Website.
  • Please create a new one by clicking “Create Login” on the “My Ruralco” tab.
  • You may be using the incorrect username (your username is your email address)
  • You may be using an incorrect password. (if you have forgotten your password, you can try resetting your password by clicking “reset password” on the Login page)

You will need a new login for the new Ruralco Website, you can do this by clicking “My Ruralco” and creating a new login.
Yes, you can set up a direct debit from your bank account by filling out the Ruralco Direct Debit Form and email it to ruralco@ruralco.co.nz. Please request a direct debit form by emailing ruralco@ruralco.co.nz.

It can take up to 20 minutes to update when you first create a login. If you are still having issues, please contact us on 0800 787 256.
You can try resetting your password by clicking “reset password” on the Login page. If that's not working for you, give us a call on 0800 787 256.
Passwords for the Ruralco website must:
  • Be a minimum of seven characters
  • Contain at least one number
  • Contain at least one capital letter.
You will need to advise us of which account numbers you wish to have access for by contacting the customer services on 0800 787 256 or you may contact us here.
If you have a login for multiple account numbers, you may select which account you wish to login under. If you want to switch between these accounts once logged in, you can do so by clicking on “My Ruralco” button and clicking “Select Account" and use the account selector to choose which Ruralco account you wish to view.
When you login to My Ruralco, go to the “My Dashboard” section under the “My Ruralco” button”.
You can download your electronic file by logging in to My Ruralco and clicking ”My Dashboard” on the statements sections on the left-hand side you can see all your monthly statements. Next, to each statement, you will see a CRS file that you can download and upload to Cashmanager.

You can charge your monthly account to your credit card and take advantage of any loyalty programme your credit card offers. Surcharges for this service apply (1% for regular recurring payments and 1.75% for payments made on an ad hoc basis). Email ruralco@ruralco.co.nz for the credit card form.

 

Ruralco Card

Please contact us as soon as possible on 0800 787 256 as Ruralco cards do not have a limit. We will cancel your card immediately and can reorder another card. (Ruralco does not put cards on hold. Lost cards must be cancelled immediately for your security).
You can call us on 0800 787 256 to order a new card.
Possible answers:
  • You may be using an incorrect PIN number. If you are unsure of your PIN you will have to reset this by calling us on 0800 787 256 and asking to have your PIN reset.
  • Your card may be damaged, please reorder a new card by calling us on 0800 787 256.
Ruralco can not advise you of your PIN number for Ruralco or Mobil cards. You can reset your Ruralco Card or Mobil card pin by calling us on 0800 787 256.

If you are a Mid Canterbury Shareholder, you can view Mid Canterbury Irrigation Data on the Weather page make sure your logged in and click here. You may also create a login and tailor your Irrigation Data and Soil and Grass Temperatures for your farming area via The National Climate Database from NIWA here.
