Thank you for your support through COVID-19 to date, we appreciate the cooperation and kindness of every member towards each other and our staff.

 

Following the Governments announcement that we are entering Alert Level 4, we are able to continue to support your farming business. We must however remain vigilant to reduce the risk of transmission. 

Thank you in advance for your support and patience as we get through Level 4 together. 

 

We will remain operating as we are with our normal store hours until further notice and will be closed this Saturday, 28 August. Please read our protocols on how to purchase and interact with our stores below.

You will be sent a tracking number when the goods are distributed. We will do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible, however you may expect delivery times up to 7 days during this time, please be patient and bear with us as we do our best in these circumstances. All delivery will be contact-less. Please note we will not be accepting returns until further notice.

Ruralco Store Onsite Protocols:

 

  • You are required to wear a mask.
  • Entrance to the store is limited to 2 people at one time.
  • Please read all signage upon entering our sites.
  • Please scan the QR code provided or use the manual register to sign in.
  • Please follow our signage & use hand sanitiser as provided.
  • Please keep to the 2m rule between yourself, our team, and other customers.
  • We will not be accepting cash, eftpos or credit cards instore, due to the contactless service we will only accept orders charged to your Ruralco account.
  • We will not be accepting any product returns during this period.

Farm Supplies, Fertiliser Or Seed

 

You can call Ruralco on 0800 787 256, email us at ruralco@ruralco.co.nz or order online.
Our team will let you know when your order will be ready for contact-less collection, we will do our best to make these available within 48hrs however please bear with us as we may experience delays during this period, thank you for your patience.
If you have ordered in advance & a staff member has advised you that your items are ready for collection, you can drive to the store to collect your order. For Ashburton, drive through Inwards Goods (entry from Burnett Street) to collect your order. A one vehicle at a time policy applies, so please be patient.
If you cannot order online or on the phone or by email you will still be able to come to the store, however we are operating under strict protocols. To assist with contact tracing each of our stores has a dedicated QR code, we encourage all customers to use this when entering our premises. We are providing hand sanitiser for all customers and we have provided masks for our team to use. Please follow the signage and maintain physical distancing of 2 metres. Fuel & Energy

Our fuel suppliers are confident of continuity of their supply, there is no shortage of supply in NZ. Our suppliers have assured us that they have the resources in place to meet all on-farm deliveries so these will operate as normal. 
Our experts are here to help you through these difficult times and are available via phone or email to look after all your fuel, lubricant, fuel storage requirements and information.
You will still be able to fuel up at fuel stations throughout the country and pay via your Ruralco Card. Expect to see protocol changes, as implemented by the fuel company.
No, power is considered an essential service. Therefore your power will continue to be provided as normal.
Yes, if you are a Genesis energy customer, your LPG delivery will continue as normal. 

 

Other Services

Ag Recovery at our Ruralco sites at Ashburton or Rakaia will not operate during this time.

 

Our after-hours number (03 307 5100) is available for urgent requirements, please respect this service. 
Yes, our office based teams are working hard to ensure we can still deliver our usual services such as statements. But please be patient as there may be a slight delay.
If you have created a Ruralco login you can view all your statements online in “My Ruralco” the menu bar. If you do not have a Ruralco website login click here to create one.
We are stopping all on-farm visits by our account managers and our wider sales team; you can still contact any member of our team for assistance.
